Bullets of effort tumbling

Injuring the monstrosity of inertia


Today my imperfections hurt

War wounds of engagement


Left weak by having less to do

Emotions leap at sharp shadows


Small tasks become tests

Relaxation impossible


I'm strapped into a roller coaster

Wedged between my mind and body
